What Is It?
Extension Mailbox feature allows you to divide a single voice mailbox into up to four separate mailboxes. Callers will be greeted with a message asking them to choose who they want to leave a message for by pressing the appropriate number key. For added privacy, each mailbox can be accessed with a unique private password.
How Do I Use It?
To set up Extension Mailboxes
Press *98 to enter Voice Mail and go to the Main Menu.
Press 4 for Personal Options.
Press 9 for Extensions.
Enter the extension number (from 1 to 3) you wish to add.
Voice Mail will automatically create a temporary password for the new extension (be sure to write down the temporary password; you can change it later if you wish).
Record the name of the person who will be using the new extension.
Record a personal greeting for the extension.
Change your main greeting to reflect the new extension.
